I picked up the P.Louise x Cariad Manifest The Best Bundle from Tiktok and this was one of the items in it. Btw on a separate note, if you want some business inspiration there’s a webinar in this bundle that is well worth the cost of the entire thing.
The P.Louise Juicy Drip lip duo is available to purchase from the company website (see here) as well as from BPerfect (here). The packaging of the duo is cute AF. Like a lot of P.Louise products, we have food based packaging, in this case a juice box. There’s even a little straw included-paper of course. Inside the outer box, the two products sit in a plastic holder to keep them from rattling about and each come with their own boxes containing their individual product ingredients. The pots of product are high quality, well made and also cute. The scrub jar has a soft touch matte finish and the mask comes in a heart shape container.
According to the product description, the Juicy Drip’s are for the most luscious lips. Each carton contains a lip scrub and a sleeping mask to protect and hydrate, dry and damaged lips with every application. They are formulated with softening and soothing properties in some delicious scents. The scrub offers deep exfoliation with an edible, sugar based formula. It is designed to prep dry lips for a smooth base for any applications on top. The sleeping mask has a super nourishing formula that works while you sleep. It protects and adds moisture to improve dry and damaged lips.
Now as I got this in a bundle, there was no choice over the scent but there are 32 different ones available. It’s really cute that each box is designed to match the scent inside. And honestly….they are scented AF. I have the Strawberries and Cream one and you can literally smell it as soon as you open the jar.
Let’s start with the Welcome to the Scrub Club Lip Exfoliator. The formula itself is wetter than I imagined for a lip scrub. There’s definitely an oil in there that stops the scrub being too dry and harsh however you do still need to be gentle as the sugar can be abrasive if you rub too hard. You don’t need to use much either as it is easy to work with and move around your lips. Despite the oil, the scrub doesn’t feel greasy or sticky though it does add another layer of nourishment. The scrub left my lips feeling soft and smooth, all ready for lipstick.
The Don’t Sleep on Me Lip Sleeping Mask is perfect for through the night action. The formula is like a thick balm that is more polymer and fat based rather then a water based serum or oil. It feels quite stiff at first but becomes much softer and workable when warmed and is not sticky or greasy in any way. The mask works great overnight to leave you with hydrated lips that feel soft. Unlike other sleeping masks, this didn’t leave any residue behind.
Overall, I’m pretty happy with the P.Louise Juicy Drip Lip Duos and have already ordered more of them since they’re on sale. As always the packaging is stunning; high quality, well made and cute af which is typical of the brand. Both items smell so yummy and work as they should. The scrub is perfect for prepping your lips before applying lipstick and the mask hydrates and nourishes while you sleep. Both will leave you with soft, smooth hydrated lips.
