PS…(Primark) 5 Reusable Cleansing Pads Review

It seems like ages since we reviewed any reusable pads here and they’re always a good thing to have around.

The PS…Reusable Cleansing Pads are available in store from Primark. Although they do have a website, there’s no online shop. Just product listings and basic information. The pack of 5 mini pads retail for £2.50 and can be found in either the beauty section or usually by the tills.

The packaging is simple but actually pretty perfect for travel. The pads come in a sealable, clear plastic bag that can be useful for travelling though I wouldn’t recommend keeping damp pads in it as they will develop mould.

Although these are listed on the website there is practically zero product information on there. Kind of defeats the object of the website if you ask me but anywho. Best I can get is that these are a set of 5 mini pads for cleansing and makeup removal. They are made from 100% polyester. They are part of the Primark Cares range which aims to reduce waste with reusable items. These are to be used with a cleanser as part of a daily routine and washed after every use.

This pack contains 5 mini pads of differing colours. Other sets containing various sizes and textures are also available. The pads themselves are quite small, about the size of a cotton pad but they are perfect for around the eyes and nose. They’re really soft with an almost fleecey texture but they feel quite padded with a good thickness yet remain flexible enough to get into those hard to reach places. They actually work really well at removing makeup particularly around the eyes. That was somewhere I struggled with when using the full sized face halo. Not too sure I like them for the full face though that’s just personal preference as I prefer bigger ones for the face. They work just as well even removing lipstick easily and don’t feel rough on the skin either.

Overall, I am really happy with the pack of 5 mini cleansing pads from Primark Beauty. After these I may have to try the other sizes too as they are such good value for money when you consider the price. They do exactly what they say on the packaging even managing to remove my full beat with ease without causing any harm to the skin. They feel super soft and are perfect for around the eyes due to their size. Highly recommend.
