P.Louise Timeless Treasures Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hi lovelies,

So I picked up a bundle that P.Louise did with Cariad and this was one of the items in that bundle.

The P.Louise Timeless Treasures palette is available to purchase from the company website (see here) as well the BPerfect superstore (here). It retails for £49. You qualify for free UK shipping on orders over £45 with BPerfect and shipping with P.Louise will cost £2.

The packaging is what you expect to see in a P.Louise palette…very on brand. We have the traditional white and pink outer box with a clear front that contains all product information on the back and sides. The palette itself has the usual clear fronted design with the gold text and decals. The decal theme for this one though is hearts. This is a double layered palette with a pull out drawer at the front containing the second layer of shadows.

This is a 42 pan palette featuring 31 matte and 11 shimmer shades. This is a full nude palette focusing on brown, taupe and peach shades with a mauve thrown in there. It contains warm, cool and neutral shades to suit every skin tone. It’s pretty much the perfect nude palette for pro artists.

As always, I had to swatch them and the shadows look pretty good and highly pigmented. They felt soft to the touch and most swiped easily with only one layer. One or two of the lighter shades did need a second layer to really show the colour. The shimmers felt smooth and buttery to swatch and look stunning.

On the eye, the shadows continue to impress. As well as being pigmented, they are easy to apply and blend. They manage to keep a fair amount of pigment during blending but can be layered up without any patchiness. The shades work well together but I do think some of them are too similar in colour to be used together. The shimmers

Although the shimmers are gorgeous, they don’t last very long before they start creasing. An hour or two at the most on my eyes which is a shame but it’s an easy fix. There was some kickback in the pan for the majority of the shades but only the darker shades and shimmers produced fallout under the eyes. The glitter particles in the shadows are a bugger to get off but I’ve had no other issues with this palette.

Overall, I’m pretty happy with the Timeless Treasures palette from P.Louise. The packaging as always is gorgeous, high quality and well made. The colour palette makes for a great neutrals palette for any pro kit though some of the shades are pretty similar in colour. The shadows themselves are soft and highly pigmented, yet remain easy to apply and work with. The only downside with this is that the shimmers crease fairly quickly but it’s only a small issue in the grand scheme of things.
