PS…My Perfect Colour (Primark) Concealer Stick Review

More Primark goodies for you today and these are absolutely perfect for small stocking gifts.

The PS…My Perfect Colour Concealer Sticks are available from most Primark stores but unfortunately they still do not have online sales. They retail for £1 and you get 4.5g of product.

The packaging is fairly typical for a concealer stick-very similar to other cream stick products. A tube with a rolling mechanism. The tube is sealed in shrink wrap which is nice for a Primark product…the stands aren’t the most hygienic. All product information including the ingredients and shade name can be found on the tube. The one thing I don’t really like about the packaging is that the concealer sits higher in the base than necessary making it really easy to stick the lid into your concealer rather than over the top of it.

This is a medium coverage concealer that is buildable and leaves you with a natural finish. It is enriched with Vitamin E…aaaaand that’s all I got for you. I grabbed a couple of shades to test none of which was my colour but hey ho that’s the price you pay when you pay £1 for concealer. When doing the swatches, each of the shades behaved pretty much the same although you could clearly see the differences between the colours.

On the face, the concealer is surprisingly impressive considering the price. Although they initially felt a little dry and thick, when warmed up they became creamy and really easy to work with. They blended easily, alone and on top of other products, with both a brush and a sponge while maintaining their pigment. If extra coverage is needed, they can be layered without looking overly heavy on the undereye but be sure to blend well otherwise it can look a little bit cakey.

For the most part, once set into place the concealer doesn’t move. It did crease slightly around the nose when testing it out but honestly not sure I’d be using the concealer stick in that area anyway as it’s a bit awkward to use around the nose. One thing I love with these is that you can actually mix the shades together if you need a more custom colour.

Overall, I am fairly happy with the PS My Perfect Colour Concealer Stick from Primark. For the price, you can’t really go wrong. They are creamy, pigmented, mostly easy to apply and easy to blend. They work well alone and with other products without looking heavy or cakey on the skin.
