Hi lovelies,
How’s the first week of 2024 been for you all. We’ve started the year as we left the last…screaming and kicking.
The Lottie London Sweet Lips Mask and Balm is available to purchase from the company website (see here) as well as from Superdrug (here) and ASOS (here). It retails for £6.95 and you get 9g of product. You qualify for free UK shipping on orders over £20 with Lottie London, on orders over £25 with Superdrug and on orders over £40 with ASOS.
The packaging is the industry standard for a lip mask/balm with the classic jar and screw cap. The jar itself is pretty heavy and feels well made and the cap is coloured to reflect the “flavour” inside. The product and brand name can be found on the top of the lid with the flavour and ingredients on the bottom.

The Sweet Lips mask and balm is available in 4 flavours: minted, coco, cherry and just juicy. According to the description, this is the ultimate lip rejuvenator. It hydration packed formula contains shea butter and jojoba oil to keep the lips looking and feeling soft and smooth overnight. It can also be used throughout the day to keep chapped lips at bay.
I actually got this as part of a savings bundle so I had no control over the scent chosen and I got coco. The balm is nicely scented, it’s not overpowering or too synthetic. It doesn’t linger for long either. The balm itself has a pretty hard consistency in the pot but becomes much softer with a little warmth, kind of like vaseline. It’s not overly sticky and applies smoothly and easily without pulling on the skin.

I’ve mostly being using this during the day as a balm with the occasional use as an overnight mask. I have to admit, either way you use it, you’re going to get results. The change in weather was really starting to have an effect with some dryness and chapping and this balm has put an end to it. It took a few days of use and an overnight moment to heal the small cracks but they started feeling hydrated and softer from the first use.
There is some residue remaining on the lips after use particularly when using it as an overnight mask. Nothing awful just a slight waxy film over the lips that is easily washed away in the morning. As a balm it’s not as noticeable. One thing I did notice though, regular use does provide lasting relief, I need it less than when I first started using it.
Overall, I’m really happy with the Lottie London Sweet Lips Mask and Balm. For the price you can’t go wrong and it’s perfect for daily use. The packaging is well made and good for travel. The balm does everything it claims too. It’s great at hydrating dry and chapped lips offering both temporary and long term relief.
