Hi lovelies,
I have another small UK business for you today. How could I pass up the opportunity to try a brand that was created from a love of sparkly makeup…

The multi-chrome special effect eyeshadows are available to purchase from the Kaima Cosmetics website (see here). These shadows retail for £20 each which is why I only got the one. You qualify for free UK shipping on orders over £50 and your order will be with you within a couple of days.

The packaging utilises industry standard components, customized for the needs of the company. The outer box is black with foiled gold and contains all product information including the ingredients. I really love that the outer box helps to protect your shadow during transit while letting you see it but it can be a little tricky to open without ripping the box. The shadow comes in a hard plastic compact with a clear front and a rose gold back. Unfortunately there’s no ingredients on the compact but you can find that listed online I’d you want to throw away the box.

The multi-chrome shadows are available in 10 different shades and 2 different sizes. I grabbed the shade Medusa which has a 36mm pan containing 3.4g of product. This has a multichrome effect switching between gold, green and turquoise. Not going to lie, it’s really hard to capture the colour change on camera. I love the geometric design stamped into the shadow as it allows that colour shift to be seen in person.

When swatching the shadow, it felt so soft and smooth. It is highly pigmented and a little goes a long way. As you can see from the image below, it is packed full of reflect particles that makes it glitter and sparkle in the light.

On the eye, the shadow is absolutely stunning for the most part. It’s easy to apply with both brush and finger but I did get best results with my finger, especially if you want to keep the colour more muted. It can be built up in gradual layers to produce the most vibrant looks and it’s easy to blend with no patchiness. The shadow felt comfortable and lightweight to wear and the shift in colour is truly stunning.
For me, there are only a couple of small negatives with this. So small, in fact, that I’m really not bothered by them. One is that there is a small amount of fallout under the eye during application. Definitely do your eyes first if you’re using this. The second is that it starts creasing within minutes of application but I actually do not care at all. The third is removal. Although the colour is easily removed you’re going to be seeing those reflects twinkle on your face for days.

Overall, I am super happy with the Multichrome Eyeshadow from Kaima Cosmetics and, despite the price, I will most definitely be purchasing more. The packaging is sleek, well made and protects your product during shipping. The shadow is highly pigmented, packed with reflects and have an amazing shift in colour. They are super soft but they don’t last long before creasing which is a shame.
