Hi lovelies,
I have to admit, this is my first time trying Sigma Beauty at all. For some reason, I’ve never even tried their brushes which is kind of scandalous.
The Sigma Beauty Jewels palette is available to purchase from the company website (see here) as well as from Beauty Bay (here) and Amazon (here). It retails for £26 but thankfully I did get lucky and got this in the sale for £16 I think. You qualify for free UK delivery on orders over £25 with Beauty Bay and on orders over $150 with Sigma.

The packaging is fairly minimalist in it’s design but it feels elegant. There’s an outer box that contains all product information including the shades and the ingredients. Both the box and palette have the same design, black with silver text and with a window in the front allowing you too see the shades inside. Not going to lie, it is a little awkward to get the palette out of the box as it’s a bit of tight fit.

This is a 9 pan palette containing 5 mattes and 4 shimmers with jewel inspired shades. As a colour story, it is really cohesive with all the shades working in some capacity with each other. The majority of the mattes are neutral toned but one does have a more purple cast to it. It just adds to the versatility of the palette as they work with all them.

When swatching, the shadows all felt so soft including those shimmers. Only the lightest shades needed more than one layer to create a smooth and even swatch. The shimmers were silky to touch and swiped without clumping. It’s clear that the reflects are evenly dispersed throughout the shadows.

On the eye, the shadows are simply stunning. The shadows are highly pigmented yet seem to blend like watercolour. Honestly, minimal effort needed to create a truly stunning look and it barely takes any time too. They can be applied lightly for something subtle or can be built up for a more impactful look. The shimmers are definitely more subtle than some of my other palette but they are still pigmented and have good shine.
I didn’t really have any issues with this palette at all. The was a small amount of kickback in the pan for some of the shades but there was no fallout under the eye for any of them. The shimmers lasted for at least 4 hours before they started to crease and I didn’t notice any staining to the skin.

Overall, I am really happy with the Sigma Beauty Jewels Eyeshadow palette and I may pick up some more of there palettes. The shadows are pretty stunning, super soft and easy to blend while being highly pigmented. The shimmers are packed with reflects and last for hours without creasing. What’s not to love?
