e.l.f. Cosmetics I Love You a Latte Bite Size Eyeshadow Palette Review

I think I’ve found the perfect stocking filler for any makeup lover with this one.

The e.l.f. cosmetics I love you a latte eyeshadow palette is available from the company website (see here) as well as from Superdrug (here) and Amazon (here). There a couple of mini palettes to choose from and all retail for £4.

The packaging is a little on the basic side but for £4 what can we say. It’s well made, sturdy and feels really secure for popping in your bag. The pans are a decent size and all product information can be found on the back of the palette.

This mini bite sized palette from e.l.f. contains 4 shades of rich and blendable shadows. In total there are 10 different palettes to choose from, with a range of colour stories. Each contains a mix of matte and shimmer shadows that are creamy and highly pigmented and the palette size makes them perfect for on the go. All e.l.f. products are cruelty free and vegan.

I picked up the Love you Latte palette which has a neutral colour story. When doing the swatches, I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a shimmer in there. It’s 4 matte shades however they swatched beautifully. They are highly pigmented and felt so soft and creamy.

On the eye, the shadows are stunning for creating a quick and easy day look. Not gonna lie, it doesn’t scream person of the night but you can get a little dark and smoky with it. The colours work really well together to produce a couple of gradient blend options and they are easy to blend. The shadows can create a softer, more natural look but can also be layered to create a bolder look without any patchiness. I’ve literally not had any issues with this palette.

Overall, I’m actually really happy with the e.l.f. cosmetics bitesize palette. The only thing it’s missing is a light shimmer but aside from that it’s kinda perfect. The shadows are pigmented, easy to blend and work well together. What’s not to love for a 4 pan palette. Oh and it fits in your bag.
