Policies

The Contract
The contract must be signed by the person booking the services of RachNevsBeauty for a particular session. It will specify the time, date, and location of the session. For group bookings, we require a deposit and signed contract per person that will contain each individuals appointment time. All contracts will contain an approximate full cost for the appointment. All deposits must be paid at the time of signing.

Booking with us
To secure your booking with RachNevsBeauty, a minimum £20 deposit and signed contract is required for everyday/event bookings. To secure your Bridal appointment, a minimum £100 deposit and signed contracts are required. This deposit is non-returnable and non-transferable. Your deposit will be deducted from your final total.

Booking Times
Appointment length is determined by the amount/style of makeup wanted and this will be discussed with the artist before your booking. An everyday full face makeup will take approximately 1 hour. Our artists may turn up 10 minutes early to set up ready to begin at the scheduled appointment time. You will not be charged for this time. All makeup applications for more than one person must be at the same location and consecutive in time. Makeup must not exceed appointment time and client delays will result in a shorter appointment.

Trial Appointments
A trial appointment is available for any service that does not include one but is only offered when a makeup service has been booked. This is a separate fee of £20 for a one hour session and is due at the end of the trial. Please call at least 3 days in advance to reschedule a trial appointment.

Delays
A late fee of £10 will be charged for every 15 minutes that exceeds the scheduled appointment time due to client delays.

Satisfaction Guaranteed
Makeup will be completed to client’s satisfaction, but is not to exceed allotted makeup time. Ample time is given for each makeup upon booking. Acceptance of completed makeup application by client is acknowledgement by client that makeup is done to his / her satisfaction.

Parking
Where parking, valet or toll fees may be incurred. This amount will be included in the final bill and will be due on the day of the event.

Travel and Accommodation
Travel within a 20 mile radius of Leeds is free of charge. A mileage fee will be charged for locations outside of the 20 mile radius of Leeds. The amount will be discussed at the time of enquiry. All travel and accommodation costs for booked events are to be covered by the client. These will be discussed during your booking and accounts for part of the deposit.

Bridal Events
Whether you want traditional bridal makeup or an alternative look, we’d love to help you on your special day. We require a minimum of 6 months notice to ensure we deliver the best service possible. Please include as much information as possible about your wedding party upon enquiry. We charge £40 an hour for the bride, £30 an hour for each member of the wedding party.
As part of our bridal package, we include a two hour trial appointment for the bride and a member of the wedding party (if required). Trials for additional members are available but subject to a £30 fee for a one hour session. Additional travel fees may be incurred so be sure to book extra appointments at similar times.

Payment
The final balance is due on the day of the event before the makeup artist departs — no exceptions. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) whose name(s) appear on this contract. Acceptable forms of payment are: cash, paypal and bank transfer.

Use of Image
RachNevsBeauty and Rachel Nevison may use on their website-and/or on any social media, brochure, flyer or other advertisement necessary-any photographs, video, audio and other stored media that is captured or recorded by RachNevsBeauty and any and all of its representatives. Client(s) agree to release any and all claims regarding the use of his/her images for such purposes. Client(s) also agree to release the name and contact information of professional photographers and videographers used for recording any event for which RachNevsBeauty has been contracted to do the makeup. Client(s) agree to the release to RachNevsBeauty use of said photographs and recordings.
The signed agreement serves as a release to client(s) photographer and videographer and authorises the release to RachNevsBeauty and it’s owners any photographs and recordings to use of any promotional materials we deem necessary. We will always credit photographers and videographers with tags on our social media posts.

Client Responsibilities and Requirements
The location of service is at the discretion of the client and therefore it is their responsibility to provide a safe and adequate working environment for the artist. The location must include: plenty of light, electrical outlets, a table and enough chairs for your party to wait.

Cancellation
Cancellations are required at least two (2) days before the scheduled appointment or you will be billed for the full appointment. For Bridal bookings, cancellations are preferred at least a month before the event. Your deposit will not be returned and you may be billed for any expenses incurred. If you cancel less than a week before the event you will be required to pay the final bill in full.
If the makeup artist cancels without appearing or is unable to perform his/her duties for personal reasons, 100% of the deposit paid will be refunded by bank transfer or paypal within two (2) weeks. We reserve the right to cancel your appointment if you present with infection or open wounds on the day. If notified in advance, we are happy to reschedule at no extra charge. If you fail to inform us, you forfeit your deposit and will need to rebook.

Artist Protection
Clients agrees to pay compensation for any damages caused to the artists kit by their actions that results in requiring replacement items. You will be billed accordingly at the time of payment.

Liability
We sanitize all work surfaces and hands before application commences and sanitize all our equipment after each client. Our brushes receive a deep clean weekly. As part of our booking process, we will ask you to fill out a consultation form to ensure we use the correct products for your skin. Makeup products used are skincare based and/or hypoallergenic. Any allergies and / or skin conditions should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

Loyalty Scheme
To thank our loyal clients, we operate a loyalty scheme where you’re 9th appointment with us is completely free. Any and all sessions booked with us, including online lessons, contribute to this scheme.
