Glossybox October Subscription Review

Hi lovelies,

A new month equals a new Glossybox and it’s halloween month so we get a special edition again. It’s also time for the Glossy Advent Calender so get your orders in cause last years was phenomenal. It’s £70 for subscribers (£80 for non-subscribers) and contains £370 worth od products.

This month you can receive one of two boxes: Angel or Devil. I received the Devil box so I have no idea what is in the Angel box. I am assuming that it’s different shades of the same products that are in the my one. This time we’re getting 5 full sized products plus an extra sweet treat.

As always, by signing up to a 12 month subscription I get my boxes for £8.50 plus £3p&p. Boxes are usually £10 and the subscription is taken on the 1st of the month with dispatch on the 4th. Delivery is usually around the 7th.

The first product for me to try was the MCoBeauty Eye Define Crayon Liner. This is a retractable liner which I love and has a creamy formula. It is easy to apply and lasts well in the waterline. It can also be blended out for smokey looks. This retails for £15.

The second product in this months box was the Lord & Berry Maximatte Liptick Crayon in the shade Devil Red. Love this shade. It has a matte finish but applies really easily. It does transfer a lot though so you will need to keep topping it up. This retails for £15. Is it worth it, I’m not sure.

The third product for me to try was the STYLondon Velvet Touch palette. This has some beautiful shades that are really soft and creamy. Unfortunately, there is very little pigment when you get it on your eyes. For £15, I won’t be buying this.

The penultimate product in this months box was the Bubble T Cosmetics Devil’s Dust Foaming Bath Powder. This smells gorgeous but it didn’t foam if I’m honest. I’ll try it again but I don’t think this is one I’ll be purchasing for £4.99.

The final product for me to try was the Que Bella Beauty Plumping Gold Peel off Mask. This one is a little sticky making it a little awkward to apply but that’s fairly typical of a peel off mask. It did brighten my skin and left it feeling soft. These retail for £2.49.

Nearly forgot the extra treat. We received a Whittard of Chelsea 1886 Sticky Toffee Pudding flavour white hot chocolate. Holy sh*t this is amazing. I’m definitely going to be buying some of this. Surprisingly, it’s not too sweet but really tastes of sticky toffee pudding. It’s £2 for the 20g sachet and £9 for 350g.

Overall, I am really happy with the October Glossybox. As with every box, there are a few items I’m not too keen on but the value for money doesn’t make this an issue for me. I can always add these items to a giveaway.

Thanks for reading. I really hope you have enjoyed this review and that you will join me for more in the future. Leave a like or let me know in the comments what you thought, maybe even hit that follow button. Don’t forget, if you want to subscribe to GlossyBox UK use my refer a friend code by clicking here. There’s no extra cost but it could save us both pennies.
