As part of my huge spending binge, I picked up 3 shades of liquid lipstick from Sugarpill Cosmetics; Hijinx, Sub-Zero and Nurse.
You can pick up all three shades from the Sugarpill website (see here) or from Beauty Bay (see here). They retail for $18/£14 each which is comparable to the Jeffree Star Cosmetics lipsticks. You get 6ml of product with the standard matte shades but only 5.4ml in the shades with sparkles.
The lipsticks come in an outer box each containing the company name, the shade and also the ingredients. They are packaged in the typical cylinder of liquid lipsticks with a doe foot applicator. I love the doe foot applicator, it’s the perfect size to compliment all lip types. All lipsticks have the distinct Sugarpill Creamsicle smell to them.
The shade Nurse is one of the older shades from Sugarpill and is a gorgeous matte red with blue undertones. This is like the perfect lipstick red. The formula is the perfect consistency and so creamy. It has great pigment and is easy to apply.
The shades Hijinx and Sub-Zero were released last christmas as part of the Arctic Sparkle Collection. Hijinx is a beautiful deep berry with teal sparkles while Sub-Zero is a blackened navy blue with teal sparkles. These shades apply matte and become more glittery the longer you wear them.
These shades have a slightly thicker consistency than the shade Nurse but I think that’s due to the glitter particles in the mix. It is still a really creamy formula and it is easy to apply. All three lipsticks last for many hours on the lips without drying your lips out too much. There is a slight drying to the lips but only after several hours of wear.
Overall, I am so happy with my purchases. My Sugarpill Liquid Poison Lipsticks are so stunning. They are really creamy, easy to apply and have good pigment. They even smell gorgeous and last hours.
