I Heart Revolution X Disney Tiana Fairytale Books Lashes Review

I finally bothered to get some more lashes and ya girl was on a budget. I Heart Revolution is another brand from Makeup Revolution with a focus on cute packaging and sparkles. I’d say it’s aimed at a teenage audience although there’s no reason why everyone can’t own this brand.

There are a couple of lash designs in this collaboration but the Tiana lashes appealed to me the most. You can purchase these from the company website (see here) and they retail for £8. You get free UK delivery when you spend £30 otherwise it’s £2.99.

The packaging is very typical for a pair of lashes. A matte finished box with a window and the lashes are on a holder inside. The box design is based on the movie The Princess and the Frog so we have a green and gold scheme. The box is perfect for storing your lashes and theres even room in there for your glue when travelling. Glue is not included with these lashes.

The website describes these as faux mink, synthetic lashes that will give you a voluminous, fanned out feather finish and they do exactly that. They were easy to remove from the holder as there wasn’t much glue holding them in place making prep simple. The lash band is quite thin and easy to cut and manipulate into shape. The lash band length is fairly long so these should fit most eye shapes and sizes. I needed to trim them down a little so I could wear them comfortably.

The lashes were pretty easy to apply but I did need to hold the edges down a little to get them to stick fully. Once on, the lashes felt lightweight and didn’t become annoying at any point throughout the day. On the eye, they give you a great full lash look without bein overwhelmingly large. Subtle enough for the day but big enough to notice a difference.

Overall, I am really happy with this purchase from I Heart Revolution and I will probably be shopping with them again. At £8 these are on the cheaper end of reusable false lashes but are still good quality and fluffy. The lash band is quite thin and flexible making them easy to apply and comfortable to wear. They are not too big for wearing during the day and add a fanned look to your lashes.
