P.Louise Make it Melt Makeup Remover Review

Hi lovelies,

I might have gone on a bit of a spree over on the P.Louise website but it’s incredibly hard not to.

The P.Louise Make it Melt Remover is available to purchase from the company website (see here)* as well as from the BPerfect Superstore (here). The original retails for £12 and you get 50ml of product. There’s also a supersized one that is £20 for 250ml but it currently out of stock. You quality for free UK shipping on orders over £45 with BPerfect though it only costs £1 from P.Louise.

As usual with P.Louise the packaging is everything and super cute. The outer pot is designed to look like an ice cream tub and contains all product information including the ingredients on the bottom. I love the theme of removing your bad vibes and ex’s. The jar of product is also on brand with its white, pink and gold colouring. It has a mostly matte finish with highlights in metallic and feels well made. The cap screws tightly into place keeping your balm secure.

According to the product description, the Make it Melt Makeup Remover is a hybrid solid to liquid balm formulated to keep your skin healthy while removing makeup quickly. The formula melts with the warmth of the body turning into a rich, buttery balm that gently loosens the grip of even the heaviest of makeup. It allows you to remove everything with a single swipe without leaving an oily residue behind. Simply remove a small amount from the pot and rub into the skin.

So I was a little surprised at the consistency when I first tried it…it seemed pretty hard until I stuck my finger in it and found it to be quite soft. It’s easy to scoop out of the jar and apply though you don’t need to use much as a little goes a long way. It spreads easily over the skin becoming silky with warmth making light work of pretty much all makeup. It doesn’t completely remove staining but it does reduce it to a minimum without any harsh scrubbing of the skin. When removed it doesn’t leave any residue behind. It also smells divinely of coconut.

Overall, I am so happy with the Make it Melt Makeup Remover from P.Louise. It does exactly what it says on the packaging-and as usual the packaging is cute AF. This is a smooth, silky and coconut scented balm that removes all makeup with ease. It is easy to apply as well as remove without leaving behind a residue.
