Hi lovelies,
We don’t review a lot of liners here but we thought we’d make an exception for this one since it now has a permanent residency in my makeup bag.

The Eye Define Waterline liner by Pixi Beauty is available to purchase from the company website (see here) as well as Sephora, M&S and Amazon. It retails for £12 and is only available in the one colour-tightline black. You qualify for free UK shipping on orders over £45 with Pixi, over £20 with Sephora and over £60 with M&S.
The packaging is pretty standard for a retractable eyeliner. There’s an outer box containing all product information and some origami inside to hold the liner in place. Both the box and liner fully match the brand colours of pale green and rose gold. As the liner is retractable there is a rolling mechanism in there that is really smooth to move but holds up for application.

According to the product description, this is a waterproof eyeliner specifically made for the waterline. It has a smudge proof formula that glides on without tugging to deliver bold colour in a single stroke. It also has a slim, fine tip for precision application. The eyeliner is cruelty free, paraben free and also vegan that has been ophthalmologically tested for safe daily use.

Ok so I’ve actually fallen in love with this eyeliner. No joke. It’s become my staple, go to eyeliner. The formula is highly pigmented and is actually able to deliver strong colour with minimal effort and application. You get black and it’s pretty intense with only one layer. It’s smooth and creamy meaning it doesn’t pull or tug the skin even after using mascara and it doesn’t need warming up to achieve this either. The liner is thin enough for precise application even when the tip has worn down and there’s no need to sharpen it. It can also be blended out fairly evenly for achieving a smoky eye.

The thing I love most about this eyeliner is its lasting power. Of course I forget to take this off after testing and to my surprise it was still there the next day. Naturally the colour wasn’t as intense and my undereye was pretty smudged but the fact it was still in my waterline is pretty outstanding.
Overall, I’m so so happy with the Pixi Beauty Eye Define Waterline eyeliner as you can probably tell. I’m actually in love with the formula. Over 20 years of wearing eyeliner and nothing has stayed in my waterline like this does. It’s easy to apply, has great pigment and is comfortable to wear. What more can you want in an eyeliner?
