Hi lovelies,
Another BirchBox review for you today and of course it’s a valentines special. This will be my LAST birchbox review as I’ve just cancelled my subscription. No reason other than I can no longer afford 2 subscriptions. To celebrate, BirchBox UK have teamed up with notonthehighstreet.com to bring us all pennies off of some cool gifts as well as a couple of postcards.

As always the subscription was paid on the first of the month and landed at my door within a week. This month we ended up with 3 full sized products with 2 reasonable samples so I can’t really complain on this point.

The first product for me to try was the Anatomicals shower gel which retails for £4. One of the full sized products in this months box although there is nothing really special about this, in my opinion, it is a bog standard shower gel that hardly smelt of anything. It got me clean though so I guess it works.

The second product in this months box was the Coco and Eve like a virgin hair masque. I’ve been wanting to try this out for months now and the product did NOT disappoint. Full size, this retails for £39 which is a lot of money however it left my hair looking, feeling and smelling amazing. I didn’t even have to detangle my hair after towel drying but I wish the sample was a little bigger so I could use it again. This is definitely one I will be repurchasing.
The third product for me to try was the Sebamed clear face mattifying cream. This retails for £5.69 and is a great skin care addition for those of us with an oily complexion. It kept my oil at bay for most of the day and my skin felt soft but not dry.

The penultimate product within the box was the LOC liquid shimmer shadow. Retailing at £8, this one was a surprise to me. Most liquid shadows crease something chronic on my eyes but not this one. When it dried, it stayed put. It stayed wet long enough to blend out the edges.

The final product in this months box was the Luxie Beauty 205 Tapered blending dreamcatcher brush. This brush picks up eyeshadow so well so be careful with how much product you use. Retailing for £11, this blends out shadows so well and isn’t too big for getting into the crease of the eye. It is also pretty soft for a synthetic brush.

Overall, I am pretty happy with this months Birchbox. Just getting to try the Coco and Eve masque made this box worthwhile for me as I’ve been wanting to try it out for so long. We did get really good value for money in this box even with the samples.
Thanks for reading. I really hope that you’ve enjoyed this review and that you will join me for more in the future.
