GlossyBox UK February Subscription

Hi lovelies,

You got a GlossyBox review back to back I know but I wanted to get this review out of the way so we are back on track with posts again. This month we have a beautiful valentines themed box rather than the usual pink. As always, the subscription was taken on the first of the month and arrived within a week.

This month, we received 7 items although 2 items are a his and her set that is been counted as a single product. Either way, it’s a great box as 4 items are full sized and the other is a deluxe mini.

The first product that caught my eye was the Huda Beauty Lip Contour. If you’ve been here before you will know that I refuse to buy Huda for personal reasons but I love trying them out. We got a full sized one, mine is in the shade Venus and this retails for £16. It went on smoothly and lasted ages with very little transfer.

The second product in this months box that I tried was the Nails Inc status ready nail varnish. There is no shade name on the bottle which is a shame because it’s such a beautiful shade of red. I love the packaging as the lid will make it impossible to undo when in a makeup bag. This went on my nails so easy with the brush and the formula wasn’t streaky and covered the full nail in one swipe. Retailing for £15, it may be expensive for a nail varnish but it is good.

The third product that I tried was the Vitamasques Multivitamin mask. The RRP is pretty similar to other masks of this type, with retail price been £4.99. The mask felt lovely on but the residue on removal left my skin feeling greasy and I had to wipe most of it off. My skin did look and feel amazing after this though.

The fourth product in this months box was the Luxie Beauty medium fan face brush 560. Having tried Luxie brushes before I am so happy to try another even though I don’t really use fan brushes. This brush retails for £15 and delivers a soft and subtle glow to the skin. Other brushes are better for achieving an epic highlight, their tapered highlighter brush for one. However, it is not the worst fan brush that I have tried.

The penultimate product for me to try was the Regenerate enamel science advanced toothpaste. Retailing for £10 this is one I will be repurchasing. My teeth looked so much better after a single use so I can only imagine how good they’ll look using it all the time. It doesn’t taste awful either to say how good it is.

The final products in this months GlossyBox are the his and her perfume samples from Mugler. We have the Alien Fusion Parfum and the Alien Man Fusion. I’m a little confused with the RRP of these as the ladies perfume is 20ml smaller and retails for £2 more at £49 which is freaking ridiculous. For me, Alien Man smells so much better than the fusion but it is a real manly smell and I don’t think I can get away with wearing it.

Overall, I am happy with the February GlossyBox. Most of the products have been amazing even if I don’t end up purchasing them it’s been great to try them. The toothpaste was the biggest surprise for me as it’s not something I’d expect to find in my beauty box and is definitely up there with bet products discovered through Glossybox.

Thanks for reading. I really hope you have enjoyed this review and that you will join me for more in the future.
