GlossyBox UK April Subscription Review

Hi lovelies,

We should be getting back to normal with the Glossybox posts now that my subscription is back. This month, there were 2 different boxes you could have been sent; fruity or floral. I consider myself lucky to be sent the fruity box as I cannot stand floral things.

As always, the subscription was taken on the first of the month with dispatch on the fifth. Mine arrived on the 9th which is fine because the fifth was a Friday. Just a reminder here, if you sign up for a 12 month subscription it is only £8.50 for your box.

This month, I got 6 products in my fruity box; 3 of them full sized with 2 deluxe mini’s and a travel pack. I really don’t mind this selection of sizes as it fits in with previous months sizings. Generally you can get 3/4 full sized products when you only receive 5.

The first product in this months box was the Dr Botanicals Pomegranate Superfood Regenerating Sleeping mask. I have previously tried and fell in love with this product when it came in a Birchbox last year. More like a moisturiser than a mask it does leave the skin feeling and looking amazing in the morning. This is one of the deluxe minis and retails for £14 (£19 for the full size).

The second product for me to try was the Dr Paw Paw Hot Pink Balm. This one is full size and retails for £6.95. It’s the same formula as the original balm except this is bright pink so don’t be using this one on your elbows. It leaves a lovely tint to the lips as well as been moisturising.

The third product was the Original Source Apple and Melon shower gel. Another full sized product, this smells absolutely gorgeous and left my skin feeling soft and hydrated after use. This one retails for £2.30.

The fourth product for me to try was the Jeanne Arthes, You’re one in a Melon eau de parfum. Another full sized product retailing at £20.99, this definitely makes this box worth the money. It doesn’t smell of melon, more of a summer fruits type smell which is great.

The penultimate product is a travel size pack of hair vitamins from Hairflick. This pack retails for £4.99 (a weeks supply) but a months supply is £19.99. These are blue raspberry flavoured gummies that taste quite nice. Not seen much of a difference in my hair but it might take a bit longer to work.

The final product in this months box is an extra treat for you to enjoy. The Palmers Natural Fusions Chia seed and Argan oil hair mask is the second deluxe mini and retails for £1.99 (full size is £2.99). Have to admit, my hair didn’t feel any different than using my regular conditioner so I probably won’t be buying anymore.

Overall, I am pretty happy with the fruity box. As always, you’re getting plenty of value for money with GlossyBox. The products have an amazing scent to them although not all of them are great.

Thanks for reading. I really hope that you enjoyed this review and that you will join me for more in the future.
