Hi lovelies,
It’s that time of the month again…Glossybox delivery. With the bank holiday weekend, dispatch and delivery were a little later than usual. It still arrived on my doorstep by the 8th so I have no complaints with that.
This months Glossybox was focused on high end beauty products and these came in the traditional pink box. It’s a ‘Trending Beauty’ edit and contains 5 full sized products with makeup, skincare and nailcare items. There was also a chance at winning a 2-in-1 hair styler from Remington by having a gold ticket in your box. Unfortunately I wasn’t one of the lucky winners but hey that’s life and there’ll be more chances.

The first product in this box for me to try was the Nailberry nail polish in the shade Love Me Tender. Honestly I’m not keen on this shade, it’s very neutral and that is not my thing. The formula applied really smooth and evenly but it did take a while to dry so be careful when doing anything. This one retails for £14.50 which is kinda expensive for nail polish if you ask me.

The second product I tried was the Beauty Kitchen Natuline Natural 0% Petroleum Lip Treatment (wow that’s a mouthful). This retails for £2.99 and I find that to be a good price. It has the same feel as Vaseline when applying but it left my lips feeling much more hydrated than vaseline.

The next product in this months box was the Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Cream Kit. With 3 highlight and 3 contour shades this is a great palette. I can’t use all the shades naturally but there is a good range in here. They are pigmented and creamy but still easy to blend. Retailing at £7.99 this is definitely one I’ll be adding to my kit.

The penultimate product for me to try was the Dr Jart Rubber Firming Mask. First off, I love the packaging and the whole DIY process. It makes it really fun. You mix the two sachets together and give the tub a shake. Application with the spatula is pretty easy although you have to work quick as it starts to set in 2-3 minutes. It was easy to remove (even from eyebrows) and left my skin looking and feeling amazing. This one retails for £8.

The final product in the May Glossybox was the Mudmasky Aftermask Vitamin Serum. Retailing for £43, this is the perfect accompaniment to the face mask. Providing your skin with all the correct vitamins you need after a mask, this serum felt very lightweight and left my skin feeling so soft.

Overall, I am extremely happy with this months Glossybox. With 5 full sized products, I felt we really got our moneys worth (like we always do tbh). There’s a nice mix of products as well as the chance to win something extra. Keep up the amazing work Glossybox UK and I’ll stay a Glossy for many years to come.
Thanks for reading. I really hope that you enjoyed this review and that you will join me for more in the future. There’s no extra cost but it could save us both pennies.
