The start of a new month means a new delivery from Glossybox. So glad they’re still coming through.
As always the subscription was paid on the 1st of the month. My yearly subscription was automatically renewed with the same deal as last year. £8.50 per box with £3 delivery for 12 months. Usual price is £10 plus delivery.
This month we received the Wild Thing edit with one of two specially designed boxes. I received the Zebra box which contains 5 full sized products.
The first product in the May box was the Oh K! SOS Printed Sheet Mask. This retails for £4 and you get 1 of three. I got the Dalmatian print mask and it’s not too creepy. It wa so soothing but it did leave a slightly greasy residue on my skin.
The second product for me to try was the Steve Laurent Wild Thing eyeshadow palette. 9 pan palette with a mirror. It’s pretty pigmented but the mattes are very cool toned. The glitters are really pretty. It retails for £32 but I’m not sure I’d pay that much for it.
The third product in this months box was the Stargazer Glitter Eye Pencil. This retails for £2 and I was so excited by it. However, it had very little pigment during use although there is a good amount of glitter deposited.
The penultimate product was the Eos Lip Balm. Always wanted to try one and this felt great when first applied. It felt a little gritty as it dried down. That might just be the mint one though. This retails for £6.50
The final product for me to try was the Mudmasky Hair Mask, Scalp Treatment and Miracle Shampoo. This retails for £21 and is a three in one product. Not sure I like the smell but my hair is looking much healthier after one use.
Overall, I am so happy with the Wild Thing May box. So much value in a little box and full of items that I probably would never have tried. Most of the products I like and the value of those far outweigh those that I don’t.
