Hi lovelies,
A new month means a new Glossybox delivery. It’s been the highlight of my month during this year and it’s about to get even better as pre-orders for the advent calendar start soon. Don’t miss out, they’ve been amazing the past two years.
The subscription is paid through direct debit and taken on the 1st of the month. This occurs whether you are on rolling monthly contract or you take up a longer subscription. The 12 month subscription will cost £11.75/m whereas the rolling monthly will be £13.25.

This month, we’re celebrating Glossybox’s 5th birthday so we have another special box design complete with a bow. There are 5 products; 4 full sized and 1 deluxe mini. One of them is part of a new range.
The first product in this months box was the Glossybox Skincare Eye Boost Cream. This is from Glossybox’s new range of products and retails for £20 (£16 for subscribers). This feels lovely and cool to apply and absorbs fairly quickly with minimal residue on the skin. My undereyes do look more refreshed after using this for a few days.

The next product for me to try was the Huda Beauty Demi Matte Cream Lipstick in the shade Boy Collector. I really don’t understand this demi matte business. It’s a cream lipstick that is packaged like a matte but doesn’t dry down. It’s a nice formula but I don’t want my lipstick transferring onto everything. This retails for £18.

The third product was the Brushworks HD Wonder Complexion Sponge retailing for £5.49. It’s a great size for doing the face but also gets into those tighter crevices. It applies both liquids and powders evenly but it does absorb the liquids more than a brush.

The penultimate product for me to try was the Molton Brown Delicious Rhubarb and Rose Shower Gel. This was a really pleasant surprise product for me. It smelt sweet but refreshing and left my skin feeling gorgeous and soft. This deluxe mini retails for £7.33 with full size RRP at £22.

The final product in this months box was the Steve Laurent Vogue Lip Liner. This one retails for £12 and is a standard pencil liner. It will need sharpening but it does go to a sharp point and I prefer this over a retractable one for clean lines. It’s got decent pigment and I didn’t notice it bleeding during wear.

Overall, I’m pretty happy with this month’s box. There’s some great products in here such as the lip liner, shower gel and eye cream but the other two products are pretty good too. As always, the box value is much higher than the price paid and I really can’t complain with 4 full sized products.
Thanks for reading. I really hope you’ve enjoyed this review and that you will join me for more in the future. Leave a like or let me know in the comments what you thought, maybe even join our mail list. Don’t forget, if you want to subscribe to GlossyBox UK use my refer a friend code by clicking here. There’s no extra cost but it could save us both pennies.
