Got another skincare item to review for you today. This one is definitely on the affordable side of skincare.
The Glossybox Skincare 3-in-1 moisturiser is available to purchase from the Glossybox website (see here) as well as from LookFantastic (see here). It retails for £18 and you get 50ml of product. There is a £4.50 discount for Glossybox subscribers which I think is pretty good service. You get free UK delivery on orders over £25 with LookFantastic but GB shipping is £3.50. All Glossybox products are cruelty free and vegan.
The packaging is relatively simple and minimalistic but completely fits with the entire Glosssybox brand. Both the outer box and product tube have the company name and logo on the front and how to use on the back. There’s no ingredients list on either component though which I find quite surprising. I also love that the packaging is sugarcane making it eco-friendly. The tube is easy to squeeze to get at the product and the cap is a tight fit to keep it in.
According to the product description, this moisturiser plumps, primes and protects while brightening your skin and prepping it for any makeup. It contains hyaluronic acid to help plump and hydrate the skin; Camelina oil to keep your skin looking and feeling supple and Inca inchi oil to support the skins natural barrier. Formulated for normal to dry skin.
I was surprised at the scent of this one. It has a unique fragrance that doesn’t smell synthetic or added. I think it’s the natural scent from the ingredients used as it’s not overpowering and doesn’t linger for ages. But the scent is pretty strong in the tube. The formula isn’t overly thick and is absorbed into the skin quickly without leaving any residue on the skin. My skin felt softer immediately after use and gained a healthy and hydrated glow. I’ve noticed that my skin does look better overall with continued regularly use. It sits well under makeup and works well as a primer to hold your makeup longer.
Overall, I am really happy with this moisturiser from Glossybox Skincare. I really love the feel and design of the packaging. Love when skincare comes in a squeezy tube but I do wish the ingredients were on there. For the price, this is a good moisteriser. Although it has a scent, it’s not overpowering and doesn’t linger. The formula has a good consistency and is easy to work into the skin. It is absorbed quickly without residue and makes your skin look and feel gorgeous. It works well under makeup as well so no complaints from me.
