Back to some skincare again with a Glamour 2021 Power Beauty Award winning product.
The Pixi Beauty Skintreats Glow Tonic is available from the company website (see here) as well as from Boots (here) and Look Fantastic (here). You qualify for free UK delivery on orders over £25 with Boots and Look Fantastic and £35 with Pixi. Standard UK shipping starts at £3.75 with these 3 companies.
The Glow Tonic is available in 3 different sizes; 250ml (£18), 100ml (£10) and 15ml (£5). There’s also Glow Tonic To Go using travel friendly pre-soaked pads. I picked up the largest one just because it’s better value for money and I want to see how long it lasts. The packaging is the industry standard for toner. Tall bottle with a cap and a stopper to regulate product flow. Adequate and easy to use. All product information including the ingredients can be found on the label.
It’s cruelty-free and suitable for all skin types as well as being free from alcohol and parabens. Formulated with 5% Glycolic Acid, this toner offers a gentle deep pore cleanse and exfoliate as well as Aloe Vera to sooth and hydrate the skin. It also contains Ginseng to protect and energise your skin and should leave you with a balanced, soothed and radiant complexion prepped for makeup.
The product itself is quite strong so I’ve only been using it 3 times a week though I am starting to see results after a couple of months of use. It gives your pores a deep cleanse making them appear almost invisible giving you a smoother and more even looking complexion. My skin looks brighter and more hydrated too. It is absorbed into the skin pretty quickly though it does leave a slight residue behind. Other than that it’s a solid product that showing some results.
