I’m coming to the end of my Glossybox subscription after 4 years with them. Think I’ve got a couple of months left though. As always the direct debit was taken on the first of the month with delivery starting from the fourth.
This month’s box arrived by the 11th which is fairly good and the theme is Mindful Mornings. It’s filled with products that will brighten any morning. The January box contains 4 full sized products and 1 deluxe mini.
The first product for me to try was the Dr Botanicals Cocoa and Coconut Superfood Cleansing Bar. This retails for £9.90. I actually love Dr Botanicals cleansing bars and have used them before. They last a good amount of time and give you a gentle way to exfoliate the skin. It left my skin soft and smooth. This one smells so refreshing too.
The next product in this months box was the Glow on the 5th Lip Dew Tinted Lip Balm. It has pleasant fruity scent that I think is cherry that I absolutely love and wasn’t expecting. It felt very hydrating on the lips without being overly sticky or oily. It stays on for a few hours too. This retails for £12.
The third product was the Nails Inc Gel Rehab Strengthening Nail Treatment. This retails for £11 (full size RRP is £15). It’s hard to tell whether it’s doing anything to be honest as I have pretty strong nails and don’t wear falsies or varnish. But it does give them a nice shine.
The penultimate item for me to try was the Naobay Vit C Body Milk. Actually a really nice body lotion that smells divine. It absorbed quickly into the skin without leaving any residue. My skin feels softer and looks brighter after use. This retails for £10.
The final item in this box was from Mudmasky. Here we could have received 1 of 4 tried items and I got the Mineral Infused Double Cleansing Mask. This retails for £43 but holy crap this is good. It was so gentle on the skin but left it looking brighter and so clear. My face feels soft and I’ve noticed less acne since I started using it.
Overall, I’m pretty happy with the January Glossybox. Although all skincare we have a good variety of products here with some great brands. Not a bad product in there though I won’t be using the nail inc. treatment. So glad to receive another Mudmasky product. One of my favourite discoveries from Glossybox and I’ve yet to be disappointed.
