GlossyBox UK Subscription January Review

Hi lovelies,

The first GlossyBox of 2019 has landed at my door. January’s subscription was taken on the first of the month as always and the box dispatched on the 5th, delivered on the 7th.

As it’s January, the theme of this months box is rejuvenation following the holiday season. It’s taken a while for me to try out everything the box but I’m loving the theme. I’m truly sorry I didn’t get this review done in January. Posts should settle down again now as the move is done and we’re getting settled in.

We got 5 products in this months box. Pretty certain 4 of them are full sized products or at least 2 are and the others are deluxe samples. Either way its’ a nice mix of sizes.

The first product that I tried was the Batiste Dry Shampoo. I didn’t really see much of a difference after using this so I probably won’t be purchasing this again. Prices range from £3-£5 depending on the type of shampoo.

The next product for me to try was the -417 facial micro luffa foaming gel. This one retails for $29 from their website but I can’t find this anywhere else. This smells gorgeous and left my skin feeling so good. Thankfully this is a full size product so I don’t need to repurchase for a while.

The third product in this months box was the Avant deluxe hyaluronic acid vivifying face and eye night cream. This retails for a whopping £98 so it’s clear this is a sample although it is a large sample. Love the smell and how it feels on the skin. My face does look more refreshed on a morning after using this on a night.

The penultimate product for me to try was the Hask deep conditioner. There was so much in this sample pouch that I got to try it twice so a massive bonus there. I can’t seem to find the one I got anywhere but other sachets retail for £2.00 at Boots.co.uk. My hair felt amazing, very soft and smooth, after using this conditioner.

The final product in this months GlossyBox was the Maybelline dream blender foundation sponge. Retailing for $5.99 on Maybelline’s website, this is not one I’ll be purchasing. The sponge is too small for the whole face and too hard to get into all the creases around my nose and eyes.

Overall, I am very happy with his months GlossyBox UK as always. I’ve not tried any of these products before so it was great to try some new things especially expensive face cream. Once again the value of the box far outweighs what I paid.

On another note, GlossyBox have started a new subscription plan and it is available to current glossies. If you sign up for a 12 month subscription, you only pay £8.50 a month for the box with the £3 postage. However this is still a really good deal and you continue to pay monthly rather than upfront.

Thanks for reading. I really hope you have enjoyed this review and that you will join me for more in the future. Once again, I’m so sorry this has taken so long to post. Don’t forget, if you want to subscribe to GlossyBox UK use my refer a friend code by clicking here. There’s no extra cost but it could save us both pennies.
