Glossybox UK August Subscription Review

Hi lovelies,

Sorry for the lack of posts recently. Life’s gotten in the way but I’m back with the new birthday edition Glossybox.

I signed up for the 12 month subscription making my box £8.50 a month with £3 delivery. As always, the subscribtion was taken on the first of the month with dispatch on the fourth. Delivery was on the 7th.

This month, we received a specially designed pink box in honour of their birthday. The lid featuring an icing design in pink glitter that becomes a holographic rainbow in the light. It’s a keeper for the collection.

The first product for me to try was the Bang Beauty Felt Tip Liner. Retailing at £15, unfortunately, this is one I really don’t like. The nib is really fine and allows you to achieve a sharp wing but it is patchy. I also found it hard to apply due to the pressure needed to achieve a dark liner.

The second product was the Furr Lashes Rose Gold Lash Curler. Never used one before but this was easy to use. It fit my eye well and it lifted my lashes quite a bit. I didn’t need as much mascara to get gorgeous lashes. Is it worth £15, I’m not sure.

The third product for me to try was the Huda Beauty Lip Strobe in the shade. This can be worn alone or on top of lipstick for added shine. I love the formula; it’s glossy an not too greasy or sticky. This shade has a beautiful gold shine to it. However it is £17 for this lipgloss.

The penultimate product was the Imperial Leather Foamburst Ultimate Moisture. This one is a deluxe mini but you don’t need much. The foaming shower gel left my skin feeling so soft. This one retails for £2 (full size £5) and is well worth it.

The final product in this months box was the BeautyPro Eye Therapy under eye mask. Another deluxe mini, this one hydrates your undereye and reduces fine lines, wrinkles and puffiness. For £1.65 (£4.95 full size) it works great for awakening your eyes and reducing puffiness.

Overall, I am really happy with this months Glossybox. I love the design of the birthday themed box and most of the products within it. This box is a great example of why I love Glossybox. Some of the retail prices of products are way too expensive for me to justify purchasing when I have never tried them before. This is a great way to try before you buy.

Thanks for reading. I really hope you have enjoyed this review and that you will join me for more in the future. Leave a like or let me know in the comments what you thought, maybe even hit that follow button. Don’t forget, if you want to subscribe to GlossyBox UK use my refer a friend code by clicking here. There’s no extra cost but it could save us both pennies.
