Can you believe I’ve been subscribed to Glossybox for over a year now? Still not had a bad box from them. As always, the subscription was paid on the 1st, dispatch on the 4th with delivery landing on the 7th.
This month we were lucky enough to get products plus an extra sweet treat. This one is a delicious beauty edit featuring 5 full size products and 1 deluxe mini.
The first product in this months box was the Mitchell and Peach Flora No.1 Fine Edition Eau de Parfum. This is the only deluxe mini in this box but with a retail value of £29.75 (full size £85) it’s hardly surprising. On me, this one smells quite musky with fruity undertones and I love it.
The second product for me to try was the Mayy Banana Setting Powder. Retailing for £15, it’s pretty expensive for the amount you get. However, it does set your foundation well, leaving you with a smooth and flawless base.
The third product was the Palmer’s Deep Conditioning Protein Pack. This one was the coconut oil formula and it smelt gorgeous. This left my hair feeling and smelling gorgeous. It also added a great shine to it. Not bad for £2.49
The fourth product in this months box was the Colgate Max White Charcoal Whitening Toothpaste. I’ve been testing this all week and it has made a difference to my teeth. Also, it’s not as bad as I thought it would be, been charcoal toothpaste. This one retails for £4.
The penultimate product to try was the Delhicious Beauty Original Black Tea Body Scrub. This smells gorgeous but awkward to use as it’s essentially loose tea leaves. I didn’t particularly like this as it didn’t feel amazing on the skin although it did leave my skin soft. This one retails for £7.95.
The final product in the September box was the Carex Hand Gel. I got the Strawberry Laces one. Fairly typical hand gel to be honest. It smells amazing but performs like any other hand gel. Retails for £1.55
The extra sweet treat in our boxes was a Godiva chocolate bar. It is dark chocolate filled with ganache so I’ve given this one to my mum. It was a but much even for her.
Overall, I’m reasonably happy with this Glossybox. I was a little unsure at first but all of the products have worked well for me with the exception of the Delhicious body scrub. That’s a definite no.
