TTD Eye Contact Lenses Review

Hi lovelies,

Something completely different for you today. I was lucky enough to win a contest on Instagram for 2 pairs of contact lenses so I thought I’d review them for you. I’ve seen a lot of TTD Eye posts on social media and have wanted to try them for the longest time.

TTD Eye (The Third Eye) has a huge range of contact lenses available on their website (see here). You can get everything from natural colours to halloween to cosplay lenses both prescription and non-prescription. The prices are very reasonable too.

Delivery is available worldwide but I’m not sure of the costs. Delivery for me was great; my parcel arrived within 10 days of winning the contest. They currently have a 3 for 2 offer on at the moment so go make the most of it.

The package I received was so cute. The contacts came in a pink box along with 2 lens cases, 2 tweezers and 2 applicators (each in their own boxes). Also in the package was a little hand mirror, a card and 2 pots of glitter.

The best thing with this contest, I got to pick the lenses they sent me. I selected a pair of colorful rainbow lenses and a pair of reddish dream. Unfortunately the warehouse was out of stock of the reddish dream lenses but they sent me a very similar pair called dangerous ruby. Their replacement choice was great.

Naturally, I needed to try the rainbow contacts first as it was Leeds Pride last weekend. The contacts are soft lenses and felt very comfortable when wearing them. The colors are very subtle even on my blue eyes but they look amazing.

Wearing these lenses at Pride was great. I had them in for about 12 hours (not recommended) but they didn’t irritate my eyes or make them feel dry. I’ve also worn these lenses to work with no issues.

The dangerous ruby contacts are also soft lenses, this time from the Halloween collection. These contacts are definitely not subtle but they are amazing. They have a crackle through them making them eye catching and different.

I wore the dangerous ruby lenses for about 6 hours with no issues. They felt slightly weird when first wearing them but I’m sure that’s because of the colour. They didn’t dry out my eyes.

Both pairs of lenses do affect your vision slightly; nothing too serious and you do get used to it pretty quickly. Naturally, there is a faint cloudiness to your vision and you can see a ring in your periphery. Like I said you get used to this and didn’t bother me throughout the day.

Overall, I am so happy with the contest prize but more importantly with the lenses themselves. The package containing the extras was so cute and appreciated. The lenses are comfy to wear and don’t dry your eyes out. The design of both lenses are amazing; one subtle, one not.

Thanks for reading. I really hope that you have enjoyed this review and that you will join me for more in the future.
