Jeffree Star Cosmetics Queen B*tch Mini Lipstick Bundle Review Blood Lust Collection

Hi lovelies,

Yea, I went a little bit nuts with this release but hey ho, I’m a makeup addict. I literally had to buy this bundle for the shade I’m Vulgar but you can never have too many liquid lippies. Oh, and you can check out the palette review right here.

During the Conspiracy launch there were a lot of difficulties on both the JSC website and Beauty Bay. JSC seemed smooth enough but BB had a queue system in place meaning the launch went as smoothly as I’ve ever seen.

You can get this bundle from all the usual retailers (JSC website, Beauty Bay and Beautylish). It retails for $52/£46 (already had a rant about this) and delivery is free to the UK from BB and Beautylish. I did pay a little extra (£3.95 in fact) for next day delivery from BB and it arrived as it should.

Side note: I love that Beautylish offer bundles and wish other retailers offered the same options to save a little time.

The lipsticks come in a purple striped outer box emblazoned with the company name and logo. The bundle name is written down the side. The inside of the lid is also full of metallic JSC stars. The lipsticks are set into a cardboard insert to keep them safe and the shame names are written underneath each one.

The bundle contains 8 shades of velour liquid lipstick, with 2 shades limited to this bundle. The shades included are Royal Armor, I’m Vulgar, I’m Royalty, Scorpio, Virginity, Blow Pony, Clout and Berries on Ice. The first two are the newest shades. All products are cruelty free, gluten free and vegan with no parabens.

When doing the arm swatches, all shades had a good consistency and dried down fairly quick. Blow Pony and I’m Vulgar did look a little patchy but with a second coat they looked much better.

On the lips, these perform like all other velour liquid lipsticks. They glide on smoothly and offer great pigment (except one). For me Virginity is a tad too light for the lips but this will be used elsewhere. Scorpio is a shade that I would never have bought myself but it looks so good.

I’m Vulgar

I absolutely adore I’m Vulgar, the metallic fuschia (one of the limited shades). This is just straight up BAM! Royal Armor is an odd one for me. It’s really pretty and has a faint lilac pigment under the sparkle. But it is very opaque for a liquid lipstick and didn’t give me the shine I expected. Not my favourite.

As always with JSC liquid lips, these are safe to use on the eye including in the waterline. Naturally, you’re probably not going to be able to wear all the shades on the lips but at least you can use them elsewhere. Honestly, all these shades pop so well in the waterline to add another dimension to a variety of looks.

Overall, I am so happy with my purchase of this lip bundle. The packaging is the same high quality it always is. The shade range compliments the entire Blood Lust collection but will work well with other items. As usual, the products are versatile so even “unwearable” shades can be utilised.
