Beauty Bay Going Out Out Palette Review

Hi lovelies,

I’ve got another amazing christmas present to share with you this one from my mama. I’ve also had my eye on this palette for a while now so I actually squealed when I unwrapped it.

The Going Out Out palette is available to purchase from Beauty Bay (see here) and retails for Β£21. Pretty sure delivery will have been fast and free even during December BB cope quite well.

Both the unicarton and the palette have the same design with pink reflects against a black background. The palette name is huge on the front with all product information on the back. I love how the palette name is written, it really stands out. The Going Out Out palette, as with all Beauty Bay palettes, is PETA certified cruelty free and vegan friendly.

This is a 42 pan palette containing 33 metallics, 5 duochrome toppers and 4 matte shades. An interesting mix but for me you can never have too many shimmer shadows. Not ever, but I do feel like there could have been more matte shades to make it a complete go to palette. However, as the mattes are neutrals, they work for all of the shimmer shades.

I didn’t swatch the entire palette this time but those that I did were buttery and soft. They only needed one swipe to get an amazing swatch even the lighter matte shades. In the image and video below, the bottom two swatches are the black shade with 2 different toppers so you can see how they can change a look.

When using on the eye, the matte shades were beautiful. They are very pigmented while still being buildable and easy to blend. The metallics are also pigmented complete with a beautiful shine to them. These apply best with a damp brush or your finger but a dry brush also works. The duochrome toppers add a wonderful shift to any look but you don’t often need them with this palette.

There is very little kickback in the pans for all the metallics. The brown mattes have a slight amount of kickback however, there is no fallout under the eye. The metallics have a slight amount of fallout when packing on the shades.

Overall, I am so so happy with the Beauty Bay Going Out Out palette. I will definitely be reaching for this palette whenever I need a good metallic. The packaging is nice and simple and all the shades perform well. It has an amazing price point for the quality with a fantastic range of shades.

Thanks of reading. I really hope you have enjoyed this review and that you will join me for more in the future. Have this palette…send us your looks and product images for an Insta feature. Don’t forget to hit that like button or add a comment. Maybe even the follow button if you loved it.
