Glossybox UK September Subscription Box Review

Hi lovelies,

Another month means a pink box delivery but they are getting later and I think this month has also sold out. Sob sob. Sign up for the October box pre order and get your box for £11.

This months box is a Spa edition containing 5 self care products and an extra sweet treat. There’s only 1 full size product this month but it’s a great one with the other 4 being deluxe mini’s. Glossybox have also stopped printing a product card for the box but you can still find this online. Although I miss it, I am glad they’ve cut back on the use of paper.

The first product for me to try was the Avant Supreme Hyaluronic Acid Anti-oxidising Duo Moisturiser. The full size product in the box, this retails for £89. This smells so refreshing and felt so hydrating but it did leave a slight greasy residue on my skin.

The next product in this months box was the Minetan Coffee Scrub. Um so yeah, a coffee body scrub. It didn’t smell great if I’m honest, like old, damp coffee grounds. However, it worked great, buffing away the dirt and dead skin. My skin felt amazing after use but don’t scrub too hard, it is pretty rough. The deluxe mini retails for £11 while the full sized one retails for £18.

The third product was the Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub. The deluxe mini retails for £9 with the full size costing £34. I found this so weird. It’s basically a thin serum but as soon as you rub it on your face, it starts lifting all the crap. My skin felt amazingly soft after use but I won’t be using it often.

The penultimate product for me to try was the Generation Skin Brightening Kakadu Plum Eye Patches. The deluxe mini containing 1 set of patches retails for £7.84 and the full size with 30 pairs retails for £40. This did brighten my under eye a little but not hugely and the patches were pretty flimsy.

The final product in the September box was the Imperial Leather Foamburst Body Wash. This smells define and left my skin feeling soft. I love a good foaming shower gel and you can’t beat Imperial Leather soap. Full size this retails for £3. Oh yeah, the extra sweet treat was a small bar of Lindor. Yummy.

Overall, I am so happy with the Spa edition Glossybox. Even with only 1 full sized product, the value of the box far exceeds the price paid. I love getting Avant products in these boxes coz I could not afford them otherwise. One product was kind of meh but the rest worked beautifully and left my skin looking and feeling amazing.

Thanks for reading. I really hope you’ve enjoyed this review and that you will join me for more in the future.
