Hi lovelies,
Another brow product for you today. I picked this up as I wanted a comparison with the Makeup Revolution brow pomade (see that review here). Plus the other was out of stock.
You can pick up this brow pomade from the company webite (see here) as well as from Beauty Bay (here) and Superdrug (here). It retails for £6 and you get 3.5grams of product. I got mine through Beauty Bay as part of a larger order so delivery was free and arrived within a few days.

The Revolution Pro Brow Pomade is available in 11 shades which covers all natural brows I’m sure. I picked mine up in the shade Dark Brown and it’s a really good match to my natural brow colour. All 11 shades are vegan.

The jar of pomade comes in an outer box that contains all product information including the ingredients. The jar feels sturdy with a screw top lid that is fairly standard packaging for brow pomade. The lid fastens fairly tight so the product shouldn’t dry out too quick. I’ve had mine about 6 months now and it’s still quite creamy.

According to the website, this is a creamy formula that glides on and dries down quickly to leave you with a long lasting, smudge proof matte finish. The formula is really creamy and is pretty easy to apply however it can go a little patchy if you have no brow tails. I’ve found you can rectify this by pressing the pomade onto the brow. I’ve also found if you have too much product on the brush, the pomade does clump the brow hairs together but you can use a spoolie to unclump the product and blend it out. Using a spoolie can shift the pomade in areas of no brow so you may need to reapply at certain stages.

One thing I have noticed with this. Although the product is long lasting, it isn’t smudge-proof in areas with little to no brow hair. The pomade can last through a day of working and a night out as long as you don’t touch your brows. It does stay better if you actually have brows though. A little can go a long way for filling in the brows so the pomade should last you a while.

Overall, I am happy with the Revolution Pro Brow Pomade. Despite having used better, for the price I can’t complain. The packaging is sturdy and safe for travel and the pomade is creamy. It is easy to apply though it can go a little patchy in areas of no hair. It is long lasting even in those areas but in no way is it smudge proof.
