So if you follow me on Instagram you’ll probably know that I love a bright, colourful waterline on occasion. If you don’t follow me on IG why not? Click here.
You can pick these up from the company website (see here) as well as from Boots (here) and Superdrug (here). There are 6 shades available and each one retails for £3.99 with 1.2g of product. I meant to pick up all 6 but I only grabbed 5 coz I was a little drunk when placing my order. Oops. My parcel arrived from Barry M within a week.
The packaging is the industry standard for pencil liners although these are not retractable. They aren’t kohl pencils either so I’m not sure if they can be sharpened. I love that the entire pencil is coloured to match the shade. It makes it so much easier when you have them stored in a pot. The website states that the creamy. long lasting formula will glide on seamlessly for a splash of colour.
All 5 shades that I purchased are all creamy with long lasting pigment. False Alarm, the bright red, was the easiest to apply and the most vibrant on the eye. It has amazing pigment and is easy to apply. The pink and light blue, Riot and Glow Stick, are pretty much the same as the red but you have to apply a couple more layers to get that vibrancy.
The purple, Dangerous, wasn’t anything special tbh, it didn’t really pop and wasn’t that bright. It is a gorgeous colour though and will get plenty of use out of it. The green, Strobe Light, was a little disappointing on the eye. I expected more vibrancy from it after the arm swatch but it’s not a bad colour and I’ll be using it regularly.
Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase from Barry M and may have to pick up the final one in this collection. The price is amazing for the quality and delivery was pretty quick from the company site. The packaging is the standard, looks sleek and sits nicely in the hand. I love that the pencils are fully coloured so you can always see the shade of each. The liners are creamy with long lasting pigment though some are more vibrant than others. Some need a couple of layers to get that brightness but I love all the colours.
