Hi lovelies,
We’re a little bit late this month due to delivery delays but better late than never right Glossybox? I hope everyone managed to have a decent christmas/celebration after the year we’ve had. Can you believe it’s nearly over…hardly seems to have got started even though loads has happened.

You can skip this part if you’re a regular here but the subscription is paid for on the first of the month via direct debit. Dispatch usually starts from the 4th with delivery a few days later. Due to the current restrictions here in the UK, there have been some delays in recent months and I hope this can be resolved when e return to normal. On a 12 month subscription, the price is £11.75/m with other subscription plans available.
This month we have a christmas edition (big surprise) comprising of products to pamper yourself with over the christmas period. Cannot deny we all love a good pamper sesh and we usually need one this time of year. We have 4 full sized products and 1 deluxe mini (you can call it travel sized).
The first product in this months box was the Symbiosis Glycolic Acid + R.N.A Rejuvenating Eye Serum. This one retails for £102 so I’m amazed that this is full size. After trying this out for a week I’ve found my under eye to look brighter and more hydrated. There’s also less texture there too. Is it worth £102 though probably not!

The next product for me to try was the Nail Berry Nail Varnish in the shade Strawberry Jam. You need a couple of layers and a top coat otherwise this chips easily. The colour is a bright red perfect for the festive season and applies smooth and evenly. This retails for £15

The third product was the Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eye Mask. This retails for £4 with a 6 pack retailing for £20. After use my undereyes did look fresher and brighter and felt more awake. The serum absorbed into the skin fairly quickly and didn’t leave any sort of residue.

The penultimate product for me to try was the SportFX Mist and Fix Recovery Face Spray. It basically felt like water in a bottle but it did deliver an even, refreshing mist. I did use this to set my makeup but I didn’t notice any differences in the length of wear. This retails for £7.99.

The final product in the Best Time of the Year box was the Palmers Cocoa Butter Body Lotion. This is the deluxe mini and retails for a few pounds. I love Palmer’s Cocoa butter formula, it really leaves your skin soft and supple. I know many people use cocoa butter to prevent stretch marks so yeah always a good one.

Overall, I’m fairly meh with the December Glossybox. You always need a good pamper sesh around christmas due to all the stress but this just didn’t live up to the usual awesomeness of a December box. I know I received a few replacement products in this one. A couple of them didn’t do too much for me but I did like a few of them. I can’t lie its a little disappointing when it came so late and there’s replacements in there although looking at the original product I’d have been pissed receiving that. So yeah, not the best. I really hope GB can do better in the new year.
Thanks for reading. I really hope you’ve enjoyed this review and that you will join me for more in the future. Leave a like or let me know in the comments what you thought, maybe even join our mail list. Don’t forget, if you want to subscribe to GlossyBox UK use my refer a friend code by clicking here. There’s no extra cost but it could save us both pennies.
