Super Facialist Vitamin C Skin Renew Cleansing Oil Review

Hi lovelies,

So I have been looking for new cleansers for makeup removal and this one comes highly recommended. I generally avoid oils due to having extremely oily skin.

You can purchase this cleansing oil from the company website (see here) in 2 different sizes. The 100ml retails for £5.50 and the 200ml for £10.99 I actually spotted some 200ml bottles in my local TK Maxx for £4.99 so be sure to check there too.

If you follow us on IG or see our portfolio, you’ll know the range of makeup we produce here. If not, we range from natural makeup to full glam to full special effects and body paint. We need something good to get rid of everything.

This is pretty good. Obviously, it doesn’t break down the glues and latex needed for full special effects, you need desolvers for that. However, it manages to remove blood pretty well but it doesn’t remove the staining on the first day. For regular makeup, this is a bloody miracle. It literally removes everything first go including eyelash glue and heavy eyeliner. I’ve also noticed that it reduces the brightness of any staining caused by makeup but doesn’t remove it entirely. Adding a touch of lukewarm water creates a bit of a soap that helps to remove thicker makeup.

Of course, you do have to wash this off when your done otherwise you’ll end up with residue. Makeup wipes will only remove so much. I find a cloth and a cleanser/soap works perfectly at removing the rest with minimal scrubbing to the face and eyes in particular.

I haven’t experienced any major skin issues after using this cleansing oil. I had a couple of breakouts before I started using soap to remove and since then nothing. I would like to point out that I don’t have sensitive skin and rarely experience skin issues. Stop using this if you are experiencing problems and consult your medical practitioner.

Overall, I am so happy with my purchase. So much so that I bought another one pretty much straight away. It removes pretty much all makeup including body paint and blood easily and didn’t cause any issues with my skin. Although it doesn’t totally remove all makeup stains, it does reduce the pigment quite a bit to make it less noticable and there for a shorter period.

Thanks for reading. I really hope that you enjoyed this review and that you will join me for more in the future. Don’t forget to hit that like button or add a comment if you liked it. Maybe even the follow button if you loved it.
