I’ve had this product for a while but never thought to review it before now. I was actually sent this emulsion by their PR team which is probably why I haven’t reviewed it but I promise this will be unbiased although it may not seem like it because it is pretty amazing.
The Acne Erasing Emulsion is an overnight remedy that reduces redness, inflammation and scarring from acne. It can be purcased from the Evanesce New York website (see here) and retails for £38.99. This seems a lot for acne cream however you do get a 30 day money back guarantee so if it doesn’t work for you, then you can always return it and get your pennies back.
Due to getting this as PR I am unsure of how the product is packaged, for example of it comes with an outer box. I literally just got a tube of cream in a padded envelop but this didn’t bother me at all. Why waste packaging for PR. It did arrive at my door within 4 days of it been sent which I was super impressed with as this is a US company and I live in the UK.
The product comes in a tube that has a thin nozzle and a screw cap. The tube has a simple design that I find elegant and is small enough to travel with. The screw cap keeps the product protected and is secure. I really like how thin the nozzle is so you don’t use too much.
The emulsion is quite thin for an acne solution but it worked pretty well for me. The formula is absorbed by the skin pretty quickly although it does leave a slight tackiness for a while after application. You don’t need to use much emulsion because a little goes a long way. It didn’t leave my skin feeling greasy like most acne creams.
I tried this out over the course of 7 days to see if it did improve my spots. Now, I don’t have acne but I do have persistant spots that are tough to get rid of and past scarring. I did notice an improvement in the areas that required the attention. The spots had all but disappeared after a week but I did see reduced redness after a couple of days. I also noticed that my scars appeared less noticable during use.
Overall, I am so happy Evanesce sent me this in PR. For the price, I probably wouldn’t have purchased this without a tester but I’m so glad I got to try it. The product was amazing; it got rid of my spots within a week, even the ones under the skin. In all honesty, I probably won’t use this regularly as it’s not needed all the time. This is a great product to have if you suffer from consistant acne but I’ll use it when I need it.
