Continuing on with the Halloween theme, I picked up this beauty as it was a little less gimmicky. Something that can be used all year round.
This palette can be purchased from the Revolution Beauty website (see here) as well as Beauty Bay (here). It retails for £12 no matter where you shop. You get free UK delivery on orders over £30 with Revolution Beauty and £20 with Beauty Bay. It’ll be with you within a couple of days from both companies.
The packaging is a little more upmarket for Makeup Revolution. The outer, plastic sleeve is pretty plain but it does show a plan of the shades inside. The palette itself has a metal case which looks to be the standard in the Forever Flawless collection. I love the design on the front and the lid clasps securely. There’s also a decent sized mirror in the lid.
There are quite a few palettes in the Forever Flawless collection and I grabbed Enchanted. It is an 18 pan containing 7 matte shades and 11 shimmers. It’s a dark and smokey palette and the shade range reflects this. I kind of wish there were a couple more matte shades in there but I love all the shimmer shades for creating a range of smokey glam looks. I love the skulls pressed into a couple of the pans.
When doing the swatches, the majority of the shades are very soft. The exception being the shade Inky which felt quite hard and seemed chalky. They all looked pretty pigmented from the swatches even the lighter shades. The shimmers were so easy to swatch. They are soft and buttery with high pigment and shine.
On the eye, the shades are really pigmented but still quite easy to blend. They lose some of their vibrancy during blending but they are easy to build back up which is fairly typical for Makeup Revolution shadows. The shimmers are gorgeous and the shade range allows for a change in effect for your smokey looks. They are easy to apply and are full of pigment.
Unfortunately, the shades do crease on the lid after a couple of hours but it is an easy fix. There is some kickback in the pan for all of the shades but fallout under the eye is minimal and that’s mostly from the shimmers. I’ve not had any other issues when using this palette though I don’t have sensitive eyes or skin. If you have any problems stop using and seek medical advice.
Overall, I’m pretty happy with the Forever Flawless Enchanted palette from Makeup Revolution. A Halloween themed product that can be used all year round. Love the packaging with this design on the front. It keeps your shades protected without being too big and heavy. The shadows are quite pigmented, easy to blend and buildable when needed. The shimmers are absolutely gorgeous and here’s where you can have some versatility.
