Hi lovelies,
It’s been a while since I tested out some lashes and I figured these deserved their own post. I actually got a pair of Doll Lashes in the Doll Beauty Mystery Box a few months ago. Since I cannot find that style anywhere I bought some more (oops) to review for you as they were so good. I’ll include that style also as it’s the only dramatic pair.

Doll Beauty has many styles of false lashes to choose from and you can purchase them from the company website (see here) as well as Beauty Bay (here) and Boots (here). All lashes retail for £10 and are reusable. I believe all styles are faux mink too but I’m not 100% sure. Standard UK delivery from Doll Beauty will cost you £3.50 and next working day delivery is £5. You qualify for free UK shipping on orders over £20 with Beauty Bay.

The packaging is the industry standard for false lashes however it is definitely the sturdiest and well made lash box I’ve seen. Nothing is getting through that box. The front of the box is plastic with a double heart peephole to display the lashes. The style name is written on the front along with the product name. On the back are instructions on application and care. The lashes themselves sit in a standard holder to help keep their shape.

I grabbed 2 pairs in my recent haul: Grace (Doll and BB) and Gilly Faux (Doll and BB). Grace is described as a one of their most delicate lashes that is perfect for those looking for a natural looking lash. They are lightweight with a thin lash band for an light fluffy look. Gilly Faux are another lightweight lash but these are more feathery than Grace. They have a textured, wispy, multi-length design that accentuates all eye shapes. Both are completely different to the pair received in the box, Alexandra, which are huge, thick and fluffy.

All three lash styles have a thin and flexible band that makes application so easy. You may need to trim the end of the band to fit your eye. I did. The band on the fluffy pair is a little bit thicker than the other 2 but it’s still fairly thin when compared to similar styles. All three are also lightweight and very comfortable to wear. Grace is by far the most delicate and natural false lashes I’ve used. They are tiny and it’s easy to forget you’re wearing them. Gilly Faux are a little more fluffy than Grace giving you a fuller look.

Overall, I am so happy with these lashes from Doll Beauty and I will definitely be buying more in the future. The packaging is high quality, well made and will completely protect your lashes. All three pairs have a thin, flexible lash band making them really easy to shape and apply. The three styles are all lightweight and are comfortable to wear.
