Ole Henriksen Truth Juice Daily Cleanser Review

Hi lovelies,

I’ve started unpacking and testing items from the Boots Beauty Showstopper Box. Here’s our first product and as a bonus it’s vegan too. I’ve been wanting to try Ole Henriksen for a while now and just never picked anything up.

The Ole Henriksen Truth Juice Daily Cleanser is available to purchase from the company website (see here) as well as from Boots (here). This retails for £25 for 150ml of product although there is a 60ml mini available from the company website. Shipping from Boots will dispatch in a few days and will arrive within a week. Not sure about shipping direct from Ole Henriksen.

The packaging is fairly typical for a cleanser. The item comes in an outer box featuring an embossed orange design. Not surprising really but the boxes colour will catch your eye from the shelf. All information including the ingredients can be found all around the box. The cleanser is held in a squeezy tube with a tight fitting cap. The product has a good consistency and it is easy to get out of the tube.

According to the website description, this juice cleanser is a serious multi-tasker. The Truth Juice is a daily cleanser that removes dirt, oil and longwear makeup including the forever stubborn mascara. The gel creme formula will leave your skin looking refreshed and energized while the orange scent will invigorate your senses.

Before use

I have to admit it is a really good cleanser. It smells strongly of orange but it is a very natural scent though it does wake up your senses. It’s very gentle and foams slightly on the skin while cleansing deep into the pores. It left my skin feeling soft and hydrated as well as looking smoother (basically clean pores are less visible). After a few weeks testing my skin is looking clearer and brighter. It also removes some pretty stubborn eye makeup too although take care because it does sting when you get it in your eyes.

After use

Overall, I am pretty happy with the Truth Juice Cleanser from Ole Henriksen. It’s a little bit pricey at £25 for 150ml but it should last a while. The packaging is sleek, bright and adequate for the job. It’s easy to get the cleanser out of the tube too. It gives your pores a deep clean helping to make your skin look smoother. It leaves you with soft and hydrated skin.
