Glossybox UK February Subscription Box Review

Hi lovelies,

A new month means a new Glossybox delivery. This landed at my door on the 3rd which is a first for me. Typical really. As always the direct debit was paid on the first.

This months edition is focused on timeless beauty featuring products inspired by our favourite beauty muses. We have 2 full sized products and 3 deluxe minis in this one.

The first product for me to try was The Beauty Crop BFF Brow Gel. This retails for £5. I have to admit it didn’t really like this one. It didn’t set for ages and struggled to hold what little brows I have in place. Shame really because I usually like The Beauty Crop products.

The next product in this months box was the Illamasqua Mini Liquid Eyeliner. It’s pretty easy to apply once you get the product flowing and it has a solid, opaque colour. It lasts hours without creasing but remains very easy to smudge even after hours of wear. This retails for £10 with full size RRP £21.

The third product was the We Are Paradox Repair 3-in-1 Conditioner. This retails for £10.50 with the 250ml bottle retailing for £20. Not sure about this one, as a standard conditioner it didn’t make my hair feel great if I’m honest. I haven’t tried it as an overnight conditioner but even leaving it on for 20 minutes before rinsing wasn’t much better.

The penultimate product in the February box was the Vegan by Happy Skin Original Skin Essence Toner. It smells gorgeous without being perfumey and was absorbed into the skin quickly with no residue. This left my skin feeling so soft and hydrated as well as being soothed after exfoliating. That’s pretty much it really. This retails for £34.99.

The final product for me to try was the Rituals Cosmetics The Ritual of Mehr Sparkling Hair and Body Mist. This retails for £5.90 with the full size (50ml) retailing for £17.50. It’s got a woody scent with a hint of sweetness that I really love. I wish that the spray nozzle was a little more gentle in application rather than a large squirt but it’s fine for application to the hair. The scent stays around for a while especially in the hair.

Overall, not the most interesting box for me I have to admit. There’s only so much skincare that you need in your life and right now I have a lot. Plus I’ve already tried this liner and have the full size pen. The best item in here for me was the Rituals Cosmetic spray and only because I haven’t tried that collection.

Thanks for reading. I really hope you’ve enjoyed this review and that you will join me for more in the future.
