Still working through the last few items from the Boots Beauty Showstopper Box.
The Versed Dew Point Moisturizing Gel Cream is available to purchase from the company website (see here) as well as Boots (here) and Cult Beauty (here). This is available in 2 sizes; 20ml for £6.50 and 60ml for £13.50. You qualify for free UK shipping on orders over £100 with Versed and on orders over £25 with both Boots and Cult Beauty. Delivery from the latter 2 will be with you within a week though I’m not sure for Versed.
The packaging is fairly industry standard for a moisturizer. It comes in a malleable tube with a screw cap. The tube is feels sturdy although it’s quite thin making it easy to squeeze. The cap tightens securely so the gel doesn’t leak out even storing it upside down.
According to the product description, this is a lightweight, gel-cream formula with a jelly like texture. It absorbs into the skin instantly leaving it feeling refreshed and not greasy. It’s ideal for warmer months or for those with oily, break-out prone complexions. It contains Aloe leaf juice to hydrate, Sodium hyaluronate to retain moisture and green tea to sooth skin and protect against free radicals.
So the consistency completely matches with the product description. It looks and feels like a gel serum but behaves more like thin cream when applied. It’s easy to control during application and you don’t need to use much. A little goes a long way and it absorbs into the skin within a minute. There was no greasiness or residue left behind either. It’s possibly one of the lightest, most refreshing moisturizers I’ve tried. It’s not thick and heavy on the skin like some creams can feel and is quite soothing. It left my skin feeling really soft and looking brighter.
Overall, I’m really happy with the Versed Dew Point Moisturizing Gel Cream. It’s the perfect moisturizer for my oily skin. It’s not thick and heavy on the skin and absorbs quickly with no residue remaining. It left my skin feeling so soft and looking brighter. It’s also a reasonable price at £13 for 60ml when you don’t need to use much.
